Keto Snacks

It’s so important to have snacks available when you are first adapting to a low carb diet so that you can keep yourself on track. Once you have ‘keto adapted’ (something that took me 3 weeks), you will still want some snack options to have when your friends and family are having their own snacks. You will quickly find that others are stealing them from you so make plenty!

1. Avocados (mash with mayo for a dip)

2. Pork rinds tossed in melted butter, stevia and cinnamon (add unsweetened almond milk to make it like a cereal)

3. Pickles and olives

4. Bake cheese in the oven to make little cheese chips

5. Pepperoni, salami, kielbasa or pepperettes

6. Macadamia nuts

7. Cocoa fat bombs (melted coconut oil, mixed with cocoa or unsweetened bakers chocolate and some stevia, then freeze them in small silicone molds)

8. Bulletproof Coffee or Tea (MCT oil, whipping cream, stevia blended)

9. Celery sticks and blue cheese dressing

10. Chicken wings

11. Devilled eggs

12. Meat wraps (ham or whatever cold meat you prefer wrapped around some cheese and pickles)

13. Bone broth (make your own by putting a chicken carcass or other meat bones in a crockpot with water over night).
